Meet FlyLady and the FLY Crew!

Marla Cilley is The FlyLady. She does not fly a plane! To keep a long story short, Marla loves to teach people to FlyFish. That is how she got the name - FlyLady. Marla is a SHE' (Sidetracked Home Executive). This system saved her life and continues to bless her. When Marla found the www.SHEsintouch.com website years ago, she needed a user name for the forums. Everyone was trying to help her come up with one. When they found out that she loved to flyfish and she taught it at a local college, they came up with "FlyLady". It is because of Marla's SHEness that she can now teach others. On December 7, 1999 someone asked Marla for help and the FlyLady mentoring group began. This group has always been her gift to whoever joined. All Marla ever wanted to do was help people.

And now, the name, FlyLady, has come to mean so much more. One of her members came up with a great acronym for it:

Finally Loving Yourself (FLY) - this is the gift that FlyLady wants you to receive. It was only after Marla learned out how to "FLY" that she was able to become the person of her dreams. She has three rules that she lives by:

Don't sweat the small stuff; what doesn't matter, doesn't matter.
Laugh everyday. Even if it is at yourself.
Love like there is no tomorrow.

Kelly: FlyLady's Right Hand SHE

Kelly is FlyLady's Second in Command. From essays to missions, Riley challenges and parenting advice. When you see things from Kelly they are sealed with FlyLady's stamp of approval. Kelly joined Marla on her mission to help others a few months after the original FlyLady Mailing list started. Marla needed some help with her labor of love. The number of emails had grown to a point that they were hard for her to handle alone. So, along came Kelly. Kelly's answers to the email questions were exactly what FlyLady would have said herself. Kelly not only writes for all of the members but is a key member to things behind the scenes at FlyLady. You can hear Kelly's Blog Talk Radio show "Giving Your Children Wings" , a parenting call in program, on Friday's at 1:00 (Eastern time)

Jessica and Lee

Jessica and Lee are our website team. They keep the content fresh and exciting. Lee is "FlyLady's WebDude". Jessica provides content.
Occasionally, Jessica will find an email that is so inspiring that she will want to share it with the group. When you get an email from "FLY Crew" in your inbox, you know Jessica found a great one!

Paddi, Laura, Carolyn, Katie and Dana

Paddi is our head of customer relations. Carolyn, Katie and Laura read and answer many of your emails that are sent to us. They also handle the subscription and membership requests. Laura also does our weekly Decorating on the Fly!! Don't be surprised however to find an answer to your question from Kelly or Flylady herself!

Dana manages our FlyLady forums, the SHE forums, as well as manages all of the Yahoo FLYing groups.

Tom, Justin, Jack, Kathy,Rebecca, Misty, Sherry, Cindy Carolyn, and Emily

Tom heads up our FLY Shop fulfillment center in North Carolina. His staff is Misty, Sherry, Cindy and Carolyn. He and his wonderful staff process your Shopping Cart, Fax, and Mail orders, package up your products, and ship them around the world.

Justin keeps our books straight, Jack is responsible for all of our wonderful products, Emily maintains our archives and clippings, and Kathy is our office manager.
